It’s Fun Friday! 

Today, the final episode aired of the endlessly running soap, All My Children, which spawned so many stars and evil twins over the years. We salute its amazing legacy with a round of Six Degrees of Zeitgeist Separation! 

All My Children may be best known for its star, the always-a-bridesmaid-and-only-once-an-Emmy-winner Susan Lucci who portrayed Erica Kane—who sparred*  with Hayley Vaughan, played by then-newcomer Kelly Ripa, who years later…would co-host her co-eponymous  morning  talk show with Regis Philbin that would feature her as herself in….the 100th Episode of 30 Rock, co-staring Judah Friedlander, who….has a cameo as “Scrappy Zoolander” in, of course, Zoolander…model casting for which was done by none other than Jennifer Vendetti, the director of our coming of age documentary, Billy the Kid! 

(*I say sparred but let’s face it, I’ve seen half a dozen out of order episodes of the show between 1995 and 2003 while faking sick from school and waiting for The People’s Court to start, so: did they spar? I just can’t rightly say.)
